- I just can't say enough good things about my 1990 Plymouth Sundance. In the
- 2.5 years or so since I got it new, I put on about 38,000 miles. The only
- big repair it needed thus far is the need for a front brake replacement at
- which cost me about $80 a few months ago.
-
- It has reasonably good acceleration for a car its size with an auto trans.
- This car is very reliable and gets good gas mileage and it is a real work
- horse. I used it to move almost my whole apartment once. I piled 7 people
- in it several times. It trudges through the snow easily and never complains
- when I forget to give it an oil change. The Sundance also has comfortable
- seats, great interval windshield washers, and airconditioning that cools the
- car very quickly even on the hottest days.
-
- When I was car shopping, similar class Toyotas and Hondas were several
- thousand dollars more than the Sundance and they had smaller engines and
- drove like snails. This car at the time, and probably still now, was the
- only one for under $10,000 that had a driver's side airbag. That helped cut
- down my auto insurance premium. I have been lucky enough not to need it
- deploy.
-
- If you're looking for a low cost, good quality, comfortable, safe and
- reliable 5 door hatchback, you should definitely test drive a Plymouth
- Sundance. My sister purchased a new 3 door Sundance about 2 months ago and
- she loves it. A few friends also own them and love them. My dad has had
- Chrysler cars for years and he has never had a major problem with any of his
- cars. The dealership I purchased my car from is always quick and curteous
- when I take my car in for service. The only regret I have about my car is
- its maroon (Rusty Red) color. Maroon tends to show dirt quickly, but that's
- probably true of any car manufacture's version of maroon.
