  12. I'm not sure if this question fits well into the 
  13. subject matter of this news group. However, it looks 
  14. like a subject on which the group may have some collect
  15. knowledge.

  17. I have for some time been frustrated with my local
  18. bank. The hours are typical "bankers hours" (not 
  19. necessarily convenient to my work schedule or life style)
  20. and more often than not the Teller lines are very long.
  21.  
  22. I have been shopping for a bank that would allow
  23. me to conduct my funds tranfer, bill payment, etc. via modem,
  24. relying on ATMs for cash. We have several banks in Western NY
  25. that allow "bank by phone" but it is simply a phone-in version
  26. of going to a branch and facing the teller.

  28. Are there any banks offering this kind of electronic service????
