  21. I purchased one from Fry's Electronics, got it home, found it was defective,
  22. returned it for another of the same model, which has slowly been going down-
  23. hill ever since.

  25. While it does have a nice feature set and price, it frequently cuts off
  26. people leaving messages (so they have to call back again) as well as sometimes
  27. forgetting to play the outgoing message.

  29. I have been in contact with their customer support, there line is always busy,
  30. and it is not a toll free number.  When speaking to them, insist that it is a
  31. installation error, (but if I want, I can ship it to L.A. and they will check 
  32. it out; leaving me w/o an answering machine).  It's a big mess.

  34. I've been considering "The Message Center" from Pacific Bell.  Has anyone had
  35. any experience with them?
