- I wonder if quantity sold has much to do with this? I understand
- there were over 250,000 DAKs sold as of last August (92).
- Drew's sales pitches are quite entertaining, as well as
- effective, apparently. Does anyone have a feel for the
- number of National/Panasonic, Sanyo, Hitachi, Zojirushi, etc.
- bakers sold? BTW, I have a DAK Turbo-Baker II and I love
- what it does. Reading the comments here and in rec.food.cooking
- and pondering my tastes somewhat has led me to decide that
- when "R2D2" passes on, I'll look for a model that consistently
- bakes heavier breads completely (the Turbo-Baker IV supposedly
- does) _and_ provides a more rectangular loaf (not as stringent
- a requirement as the heavy bread one). Heavier breads include
- those with lots of oat bran, seeds, wheat in various forms, etc.

- Just my $0.02, thanks.
