  15. One thing to look at when shop around is to find out where the compressor
  16. is made.

  18. Nowadays, even big names such as Whirlpool and Amana etc. use compressors made 
  19. in areas where technologies are far behind the US. I got one of those refrigs
  20. that went busted in four years.

  22. Don't take what the sales person tells you, turn around the refrig and see
  23. the lable on the compressor for yourself.
