  16. Dear ALL,
  17.     Hemp for Victory was a film made by the US Department of
  18.     Agriculture and as such is in public domain and free to be
  19.     braodcast on any medium with out the requirement to pay
  20.     any royalties.  REEFER MADNESS- is a privately
  21.     manufactured film by G&H Productions.  Reefer Madness is
  22.     also in public domain.  The copy right for this film
  23.     expired by the late 1980's and has not been renewed.  As
  24.     such all or parts of it are available for use  in any form
  25.     or manner without a requirement to pay any royalties.
  26.     Reefer Madnes falls into a unique place, while it
  27.     techinically had a copyright it was never enforced and as
  28.     such has become a film used by many to build an empire on.
  29.     Everyone will remeber the Film company that made Fredy and
  30.     Nightmare on Elm Street.  This company it is rumored made
  31.     it's first money, and it's bank to make the Nightmare
  32.     films, traveling from college to college showing the film
  33.     for $1.00 a head midnight movies.

  39. film by adding stuff  this stuff may fall under some sort of
  40. copyright regulations.

  59.     ease of dubbing for broadcast.
