- Hello Joe,
-
- I couldn't resist. About that vacuum. Several Tech Ed teachers in
- my district got together for a week before school started this year
- and built many devices for demonstration and contesting for our students.
- One thing we built was several vacuum powered hovercraft. They cost
-
- about $12 each to construct (not including the vacuum). We had great
- fun with them. The first thing we did was put my new principal on
- one and played hockey with a human puck. It was a great way to introduce
- him to Tech Ed since he had no idea what it was. Now he comes to
- my class regularly to "play" with our many "toys" and watch the kids
- learn.
-
- Couldn't help but butt in on this one. I hope Doug will forgive me.
