  11. Dear Kathy,
  12.     Hello again !  We hope you and you class had a wonderful holiday season. 
  13. Today we are having some rain and mild temperatures. This is only to 
  14. compensate for the snow we had over the holiday. I had to have my driveway 
  15. plowed out three times since the break started. My children were also 
  16. interested in the acid rain project. There still may be some communications 
  17. from the children on topics related to the project.(I HOPE)  Regarding the 
  18. book that you mentioned .. are you reading the book to the class as a group 
  19. or do they each have a copy .Have you worked with the Books Alive series 
  20. which includes the book Frozen Fire by James Houston.This is an excellent 
  21. book on the north and is part of a series.
  22.    The children have covered the topic if the north before and will touch on 
  23. it again when we do Frozen Fire . If I can find a copy of the book you 
  24. mentioned I will read it to my class. I will send you the exact sun up and 
  25. sun down times tomorrow. Its 4:50 now and is quite dark. 
  26.     It appears that some of the files that were sent were lost or only 
  27. carried in part after this letter I will send one of the previously sent 
  28. files that was only partly sent.  Will drop you a line tomorrow... Oh by the 
  29. way we are looking at different areas in the US this year along with studying 
  30. about our province of Nova Scotia which is the main thrust of the program. 
  31. What levels cover Canada and the provinces in your schools? It was so nice to 
  32. hear from you ......Hope to hear from you soon....BOB
