  17. I don't think this is true.  If it were, the FSF wouldn't try to convince
  18. others not to port their software to the Mac, since that doesn't use FSF
  19. resources.

  21. The goal of the boycott is to convince Apple to change its practices.  The
  22. hope is that some users will choose not to purchase Apple computers because
  23. GNU software isn't available for it, and other users will choose not to
  24. purchase Apple computers because they are actively participating in the
  25. boycott.
