  27. I doubt it.  The fact that you might have to pay money to get GNU software
  28. is by far the least of his complaints.

  30. In any case, two points:
  31.  
  32.    1) Even if Mikhail had ftp access, that doesn't mean everyone does.  His
  33.       arguments, sound or otherwise, do not apply to him solely.
  34.  
  35.    2) We would rather not have hundreds of people walk into our offices and
  36.       use our tape drives.  Aside from the nuisance factor of having people
  37.       getting in our way and distracting us, it will also wear our tape
  38.       drives out much faster with any monetary compensation for it.
  39.
