  13. I thank (many of) you for your prompt help in setting me straight on the
  14. RS6000 assembler bug, that I can't even compile with the -g flag on. I now
  15. have gcc/g++ happily running on the 6000, (albeit without debugging
  16. capabilities) and will petition our systems person to get the assembler
  17. upgrade.
