- I tried to install gnu ld on my RS6000 and compiled gcc 2.3.3 with the
- --with-gnu-ld option so that my C++ linking would be faster.

- It doesn't seem to work for me. I get the error:

- ld cannot open load script file 512

- I have used LDEMULATION vanilla.

- Does anyone know if ld is supposed to work on RS6000s or if perhaps I
- did something stupid in the installation?
