  22. thanks for the discussion.  as far as i'm concerned, if it isn't
  23. emacs, i don't care all that much about it :-).  i want to switch
  24. terminals and still have it work.  people with repetitive motion
  25. disorders, arthritis, missing or thick fingers, only one arm, etc.
  26. would really appreciate the ability to make sticky the ctrl and shift
  27. modifiers.

  29.    Couldn't you just write a wrapper around redisplay that calls your
  30.    arbitrary functions in a hook?

  32. after i posted, i realized that's pretty much possible.

  34. i would really be very pleased if emacs could do my first two
  35. impossible hacks (sticky shifts and improved forward-word), and the
  36. last (ability to negate paren groupings in regexps).
