- Using an interactive inferior shell with emacs 18.57.13, I get the
- following messages after doing "M-x shell":
-
- Warning: no access to tty (Bad file number).
- Thus no job control in this shell.
- rob@xyzoom 12:52 ~ 70>
-
- ...and I get the message "Can't open /dev/tty" when I try to run
- interactive programs like rn, mush, etc.
-
- Is this normal, or is there a way to fix? The shell is tcsh.
-
- Thanks --Rob
