  13. 1. Could anyone tell me how can I map the most frequently used "Meta-X"
  14. key combination into a single key? (By using  
  15. (global-set-key "\e[224z" "\M-x")  or
  16. (global-set-key "\e[224z" "meta-x") or xmodmap
  17. I tried to map it onto the F1 key in vain.
