- I would like to use Motif drag and drop to move files around.
- However, providing that capability seems insecure, as someone could
- simulate the Motif Drag & Drop protocol, and cause an unauthorized
- file transfer. The drag initiator can protect itself from this, by
- refusing to start a drag on a synthetic event. However, the drag
- receiver gets all of its information from synthetic events sent by the
- initiator. Thus it is possible to fool a receiver into thinking it
- got a drop, when actually, the user did not do any dropping.
