  12. I would like to use Motif drag and drop to move files around.
  13. However, providing that capability seems insecure, as someone could
  14. simulate the Motif Drag & Drop protocol, and cause an unauthorized
  15. file transfer.  The drag initiator can protect itself from this, by
  16. refusing to start a drag on a synthetic event.  However, the drag
  17. receiver gets all of its information from synthetic events sent by the
  18. initiator.  Thus it is possible to fool a receiver into thinking it
  19. got a drop, when actually, the user did not do any dropping.
