  27. Two things to consider: X11R5 must be compiled with a switch,  
  28. MOTIF_BC, for Motif 1.1.x.  Otherwise you should be running 
  29. Motif 1.2.x or (trusting my failing memory :) ) 1.1.5.  Perhaps 
  30. someone else can tell you the precise situation.
