  13. A followup to my November posting on this subject:

  15. Sun now has a patch 100444-35 which fixes this bug (i.e. a Motif 1.2
  16. client crashes the OW3 xnews server upon client startup) and approx. 50
  17. other bugs.  Earlier versions of this patch for the OpenWindows 3.0
  18. server, e.g. 100444-28, do NOT solve this particular bug.  (100444-35 is
  19. applicable to OW3 running under SunOS 4.1 thru 4.1.3.)
