  12. Hello.
  13. Is any one out there running X on a notebook computer with 256 colors at
  14. 640x480? I'm looking for such a beast. I'd prefer an active matrix laptop.
  15. It's been difficult to find out what kind of video chipsets are in these
  16. laptops.  Any information or recommendations?

  18. It seems that some of the laptops can only support 16 colors at the 640x480 
  19. resolution.  As I understand it, I need a 256 color mode to use X386.
