  13. When I try to write text in xfigand want to use different fonts or just try
  14. to apply indizes - placing appropriate sized characters by hand - the
  15. layout I see on the screen and what I get when printed differs tremendous.
  16. The position of the charakters on the screen have nothing to do with the
  17. position I get on the paper. Even when zooming in xfig I get different
  18. positions.
  19. I use: xfig2.1.6 with transscript2.1.6
  20.        cc at a SunSPARC 2 with SunOS 4.1.1
  21.        Postscript Fonts and Postscript-printout
