  11. A new release of my "Generic Tetris" is out. This V2.0.0 is a complete
  12. re-write based on V1.8.1. The layout has changed and people can now play
  13. with "show next" mode and other preferences.

  27. WHY ANOTHER?
  28.  
  29.     Because this one is simple, easy to build, and portable -- actually
  30.     the blocks are bigger, more comfortable for your eyes. It only uses
  31.     Xlib -- no "toolkit" kind of thing. People have tested it on the
  32.     following platforms:

  41. ANYTHING SPECIAL IN PLAYING?

  43.     Use 'j' to move left; 'l' to move right; 'k' to rotate. Left-handed
  44.     people may want to use 's', 'd', 'f' respectively. Use the space
  45.     bar to drop a block quickly.

  47.     Use CTRL-L key combination to redraw -- in case the program messes
  48.     somthing up.

  50.     As usual, '+' and '-' will speed up or lower down the speed. Note
  51.     that you don't need to press the SHIFT key -- '=' and '_' also
  52.     work. The 'b' key can be used to toggle "beep" and 'n' toggles
  53.     "show next".

  55.     If you press 'p', the game will be paused, and the window will be
  56.     iconified -- just in case your boss suddenly appears at your door.
  57.     ;o) When the tetris window loses its focus, it also goes to
  58.     "paused" mode except it doesn't iconify itself.
