  11. Does X support a global macro keystroke recorder ability
  12. such as Microsoft Windows?

  14. For example, say I want to automatically invoke an X-Window
  15. program, select item x from menu y, popup a screen, do a screendump 
  16. and exit the program.

  18. I could do this under MS Windows by using the system 
  19. "keystroke/macro recorder". Is there a public domain or
  20. commercial recorder for X/Motif?
