  20. We evaluated both PC-XView with XRemote and XVision with Xremote, and we
  21. chose XVision over PC-XView, for two reasons:  first, a bug in the PC-XView
  22. software prevented us from running our custom applications; second, the
  23. XVision product had some nifty features that were missing from PC-XView,
  24. such as real icons for the X windows, and a bunch more monitoring features.
  25. We didn't notice any big performance differences between the two.  We were
  26. mostly running Sun's DeskSet applications with some of our own custom Open
  27. Look applications.
