- I'm still trying to find a way to use my Laser 386sx monitor with my
- STB ERGO Powergraph 1024x768x256 board. I've been able to grab the
- 640x480 entry from the standard entry in modeDB.txt (in Linux's
- /usr/lib/X11/etc directory), and have it working properly. The
- 800x600 entry seems to roll vertically, along with displaying some
- white retrace lines at times. I'm thinking that I might be able
- somehow 'massage' this entry to work within the next day or two.
-
- Unfortunately, I've not been able to get the monitor to work with any
- 1024x768i entry found in this list. Likewise, I'm not sure how to
- generate entries for an interlaced mode of operation for a monitor.
-
- If anyone can point to a FAQ that explains computing these entries for
- an interlaced mode, please let me know.
-
- thanks, and sorry for the reposting of this problem. I'm just stumped
- by it, and I'm not sure how to compute the proper values (everything
- that I've read i believe is geared to the non-interlace mode of operation).
