  17. Capturing or playing sound has nothing to do with X. If your workstation
  18. manufacturer supports sound playing and recording equipment, chances are
  19. high that you'll find some sound tools that work under X. On my Sony NeWS
  20. station, there is a tool xsed, which can record and play sound.
