- I am trying to use the RichText formatted text display widget authored by Daniel W.
- Connolly, with an X window interface (with the motif widget set). I am having
- problems using it even with classes like the form class, drawing
- area, etc. The problem, explained in simple terms, is that any text I display
- on the RichText widget fails to appear, and the width of the widget is always 8,
- no matter what the length of the text displayed on it. The only widget with
- which this problem does not occur, is the MainWindowWidget,
- ie. when I have a simple interface with an application shell at the top,
- a MainWindow widget as its child and the RichText widget as a child of the
- MainWindowWidget.
-
- I am facing a deadline to get this interface done and any help/clarifications as to
- the reason why this is happening would be greatly appreciated. Is there some
- documentation on what features this widget offers, which may hint on the possible
- reasons?
- Please reply by e-mail.
