  14. Does anyone, by chance, have a simple example of creating an X image in a
  15. window using data from raw data file?  That is, I have a raw data file which
  16. contains 16 bit/pixel and is 256 pixels by 256 pixels.  I have tried reading
  17. the raw data into a memory buffer (reversing byte order...) and passing a
  18. pointer to the XCreateImage() function with lousy results.

  20. I do not have ftp access, only mail.  Any code fragments you could send along
  21. would be appreciated.
