  30. I think it's a problem with the window manager being paged out and it takes
  31. too long to page back in, resulting in a geometry requets being refused, thus
  32. the shell comes up small (approx 16 x 16 pixels I think). Just a guess.

  34. On a related note, occasionally we also so (ie: we do experience the above 
  35. problem occasionally) see dialog boxes come up for a split second and then
  36. disappear into oblivion forever - BIG DOODOO time.
