  13. I am an X novice who has a Mac running X server software.  I want to
  14. login into a remote Sun and use the Open Look window manager to drive my
  15. X display (which is a "rooted" window).  The Sun is a Sparc 4
  16. running SunOS 4.1.

  18. It looks like the script "openwin" was designed for launching X locally
  19. on the Sun, and does not support the use of an X server which is remote.
  20. So I took much of the stuff from "openwin" and created my own X startup
  21. script, but I'm still having some problems.

  23. Has anyone created an X startup script that supports a remote display
  24. server?  Or does anyone know if Sun does in fact support this easily?
