- I am an X novice who has a Mac running X server software. I want to
- login into a remote Sun and use the Open Look window manager to drive my
- X display (which is a "rooted" window). The Sun is a Sparc 4
- running SunOS 4.1.
-
- It looks like the script "openwin" was designed for launching X locally
- on the Sun, and does not support the use of an X server which is remote.
- So I took much of the stuff from "openwin" and created my own X startup
- script, but I'm still having some problems.
-
- Has anyone created an X startup script that supports a remote display
- server? Or does anyone know if Sun does in fact support this easily?
-
- Steve
