- I'm having some strange problems with Iconedit. I've got two machines, each
- running SunOS 4.1.1 and OpenWindows 3.0.
-
- On machine A, when I run iconedit, I get the message, "Warning: ToolTalk not
- initialized in Iconedit!" but the application starts up fine.
-
- On machine B, I get no warning message at start-up time, but then when I
- click on the palette button to bring up the color panel, I get the messages:
- "Iconedit: Couldn't create request message."
- "Iconedit: Couldn't sent [sic] message. Status:1"
-
- On machine B, the palette button is labelled "Palette..." without the down-
- arrow pull-down menu indicator. Clicking on this button does nothing other
- than produce error messages. On machine A the palette button brings up
- a menu.
-
- The warnings would have me believe that ToolTalk isn't installed properly
- on either of these machines, but at least machine A does bring up a color
- menu. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get the "right" behavior
- from iconedit?
-
- Thanks,
- Keith
