- The Tadpole feature you saw is embedded in their server. The server on the
- tadpole is emulating an 1152x900 pixel screen even though it's much smaller;
- it does this emulation by having the server scroll the view when the mouse hits
- the screen edge. It does this independent of which window manager you're using;
- you'll see the same thing with, say, twm. In fact, if you are using olvwm, you'll
- notice that it only scrolls like that within one logical screen area of the virtual
- desktop, and you'll still need to do the standard things (arrow keys, clicking in the
- VDM, etc.) to move between logical areas of the virtual desktop.
-
- In fact, this sort of functionality can really only be embedded in the server anyway,
- as the window manager will not know that the mouse is at the screen boundary if the
- mouse happens to be over an application at the time.
