- Agree that FC produces a nicer (and unlimited length) output than COMP
- but it was designed to compare text files and you have to remember to
- use the /B switch on binaries or the check may terminate on the first
- <EOF> marker. COMP, on the other hand, uses no intelligence, is much
- faster, and has worked the same way in all DOS versions. I prefer COMP
- when all that matters is "are the files identical?".
