  13. Since I upgraded to SCSI drives and the Adpetec 1542B Controller, my system 
  14. CRASHES 2X per day!, and I have been unable to determine why or how this 
  15. is happening.  Please, if you have seen something like this -or- have an 
  16. idea as to what else to try, let me know.

  19.     The system crashes giving the following error message about 1-2 times
  20.     per day.

  34.     The system is used for public distribution of news and mail as well 
  35.     as having 4 dialin lines for shell access.  Uptime is a concern. It
  36.     seems if the crash happens during times of heavy disk activity - but
  37.     that could be just my 'thinking'

  75. Again, if you have any ideas as to what I need to look at or change, please
  76. drop me a note.  We ar using all good parts, conditioned power via a Triplet,
  77. and have tried almost every combination on the motherboard BIOS.  The harddrives
  78. are not defined in Bios as the Adaptec SCSI controller eliminates the need
  79. for that.  I have tried to use scsicntl to check the configuration of the
  80. Adaptec 1542B with scsicntl and have been unable to correctly use it.
