- I have ODT 2.0 running on a 486 with an adaptek 1542b, 600
- meg scsi drive and a CHINON cd-rom drive. The above works
- fine under dos, os/2 and bsd386. However, when trying
- to access the cdrom under odt, I get "cannot open cd0,
- no such device or address" when trying to dd from it, mount
- it or anything. The drive light flickers when I try to
- access it.
- I did the normal mkdev cdrom and mkdev highsierra. I tried
- addressing the cdrom at 1 and 2, with the hd at 0.
- I know that the CHINON is not specifically mentioned in the
- release notes, but I can't find any strings in the pack.d
- files that specify manufactures ids.
- Any idea what I am doing wrong?
