  13. We recently upgraded from Ultrix 4.2A to Ultrix 4.3 on our DECstations.
  14. No problems with new kernels and devices on 3100's, 2100's, 500/125's,
  15. but on the 5000/25's ...

  17. We boot and everything looks great, everything starts, X comes up
  18. (we're running MIT X11R5 xdm and binaries with the Ultrix R4 Xws
  19. Server), but the keyboard and mouse are locked. No response.

  21. We think the problem is either with the kernel config, or dev's.
  22. If someone out there has a similar workigng configuration, we'd like to
  23. get a copy of the kernel config file so we can check our options.
  24. We're also unclear about exactly what command line arguments should
  25. be given to MAKEDEV to generate an appropriate set of devices for the 
  26. 5000/25's.  Apparently we need something extra, as compared to the 
  27. other machines we manage.
