- I'm having a problem with sendmail. I installed Ultrix 4.3 on a MVAX
- and used our local domain at the time to setup sendmail. Everything seemed fine.
- I then moved our group and MVAX to another institution with a different domain
- and tried to change sendmail's idea of our local domain, but can't seem to do
- it.
- I have changed the $D macro in sendmail.cf, refreshed the sendmail.fc
- and tried everything else I could think of, but somewhere hidden, sendmail
- has this stuck notion of our old domain as being our local domain. Mail that
- I send to our old domain invokes the tcplocal section of sendmail, while mail
- that is truly local invokes the tcp section, and subsequent problems follow.
-
- Somewhere there must be hidden another reference to our old domain that
- I don't know about. Where ? How do I change it ? Please email responses. Thanks.
