- I had to make some kludgy kernel configuration hacks dealing with
- max processes and some of the calculations in param.h to get pathworks to
- function in a large lab (more than 50 PCs). It works acceptably now,
- and the labs get beat on heavily. Before I made the hacks, it was
- unusable after a certain load threshold.

- Maybe DEC has this fixed now, or knows how to tell you to fix it. If not
- you'll either need someone who knows what they are doing, or someone
- (like me :-) who delights in kludgy hacks to make it work in an
- environment with lots of PCs.
