- "truss" was originally developed independently of "trace"; it didn't
- emerge from the AT&T/Sun collaboration. It may have picked up stuff
- from "trace" as a result of the collaboration, but if Ron Gomes got the
- idea from Sun, he got it before the Sun and AT&T engineers started
- formally talking.... (Note that Sun weren't the ones to come up with
- the original idea, either....)
