- truss came out of the AT&T/Sun collaboration in 1988-1990, and is
- very similar to trace on SunOS. truss was released in AT&T/USL's SVR4.0
- on at least 386 and 3B2 platforms, though I'm not sure if it was supported
- on all platforms at that point.
