- Announcing a free libc for SCO XENIX.
-
- I have just completed the alpha test version of a BSD based free libc for
- xenix. So far I have managed to get perl to pass its regression
- tests. The libary is reasonably complete but untested except for building
- perl. Combined with either my port or the SCO UNIX versions of GCC, GCB and
- GAS produces a free dev sys. I have still to tidy up the directories and
- build scripts form release. For the time being I am looking for people
- willing to do alpha testing. If you are interested please email me.
-
- Those interested in SCO UNIX / ODT may also be interested as the XENIX
- libc is compatible with the UNIX product. The UNIX / ODT specific system
- calls will however be missing (thoy shouldn't be to difficult to add).
