  10. We recently purchased the Workstation Developers Kit for ISC UNIX 3.0.  They
  11. included compress, uncompress, and zcat in the directory /usr/lbin.  Here's
  12. the problem.  I would like to get some of the FSF software (GCC, EMACS, etc.)
  13. loaded, but to do so, I have to uncompress the archives.  The bogus uncompress
  14. that they gave us barfs when it I try to uncompress large files - it says
  15. the file is "too big".  Can someone please tell me where I can find the source
  16. code to a replacement that will work?  I found a couple of replacements, but
  17. they keep refusing to work also, giving me error messages that say things
  18. like "write error on output".  Please respond via email as our not-too-swift
  19. system administrator has turned off our newsfeed until he comes back in 
  20. January.  They recently have been messing with our domain name, so if mail
