- Hi. I'm a new user. I'm sorry if this question is being posted to the
- wrong newsgroup, but if any of you can answer it, I'd appreciate it:
-
- I connect to ULTRIX via NCSA telnet for the Macintosh. I have been trying to
- play chess via a Macintosh graphics interface rather than an ASCII interface
- with people around the world on the Internet Chess Server. I got a file via
- ftp called MacICS-0.0.tar which might compile into a graphics interface, but I
- don't know what to do with it.
- I tried using tar, but since my system doesn't have /dev/rmt0h I get an error.
- Any ideas on how to compile this and how to get ULTRIX and my Mac to communicate????
-
- Thanks very much,
- Mike
