- If someone dials in at 1200 baud, when the line is hung up, the modem
- stays at 1200 baud for the next connection(HS light off). I tried
- setting AT&D3 (to reset them modem on drop of DTR), but then then all
- users see garbage when logging in. I thought this was a problem for
- Hayes clones only, but I have a real Hayes now and it does the same
- thing.
-
- The only solution I have come up with is to have a script reset the
- modem every 15 minutes, assuming the modem is inactive. Is there a
- better solution?
-
- I have found this System V Unix with an externally connected 2400 Baud
- Hayes modem. The modem is otherwise correctly configured, with AT&D2,
- ATE0, ATQ1, AT&C1, ATS0=1, etc.
