  11. Hello fellow netter:

  13.    PKWARE has just make pkzip 2.04c available to public.  It has several newer
  14. stuff like deflating capability, EMS, XMS usage, etc...  My question is, is 
  15. there a compatible unix zip version available via anon. ftp?

  17.    I am also looking for a newer version of unsit, which will extract the 
  18. newer MAC *.SIT files.  I have several *.SIT files that I want to use, but
  19. the unsit program that is available for UNIX is too old and do not understand
  20. the newer format.  Can someone tell me what is the latest version of this and
  21. where I can get it?

  23.    The only way I can think of is to download it to a MAC, then extract the 
  24. *.SIT file, and upload it back up to my account before converting them to 
  25. other types of compression format like zip, etc.  This is tiring and irritating
  26. and I would much rather use only one type of machine that can do everything.
  27. Any suggestions/recommendations to this will be much appreciated.
