  19. I've looked into this. Your hardware is plenty big, but you might
  20. want more drive space if you want to keep the kiddie's games! :)
  21. A problem is that the "real" cost is $1000 with the development 
  22. system- including a GNU complier and tools. If you are going to 
  23. do any hacking, this would be necessary.

  32. I haven't used this, but it is my understanding that it is a bit slow,
  33. but OK.  There is a review in Nov/Dec 92 "Sys Admin" magazine (info@rdpub.com)
  34. of Coherent.  They liked it mainly for the reason that it ran many
  35. SCO apps out of the box.  Another benefit of Coherent would seem to
  36. be their 1200 page manual which discusses it "all"!

  38. Linux is just about to 1.0 and there is much discussion on comp.os.linux.
  39. An added benefit is that it is free!
