  18. I hope I've chosen the right newsgroups :-)
  19. We are planning to re-develop our application and splitting it in several
  20. processes which run on several UNIX workstations (at the moment our
  21. application consists mainly of one process).
  22. These processes shall communicate by using RPC's.
  23.  
  24. My question now is:
  25. Is it commonly useful or necessary to provide a self-made wrapper
  26. interface around the RPC interface or is it sufficient to use the
  27. RPC interface directly in our application processes ???

  29. Sorry if this is a silly question or if the question lacks of additional
  30. information, but we have no experience with RPC and at the moment
  31. I can't provide much more information.

  33. Any hints or comments are greatly appreciated. Please anwer by e-mail,
