- Hi all,
-
- I hope I've chosen the right newsgroups :-)
- We are planning to re-develop our application and splitting it in several
- processes which run on several UNIX workstations (at the moment our
- application consists mainly of one process).
- These processes shall communicate by using RPC's.
-
- My question now is:
- Is it commonly useful or necessary to provide a self-made wrapper
- interface around the RPC interface or is it sufficient to use the
- RPC interface directly in our application processes ???
-
- Sorry if this is a silly question or if the question lacks of additional
- information, but we have no experience with RPC and at the moment
- I can't provide much more information.
-
- Any hints or comments are greatly appreciated. Please anwer by e-mail,
- because I normally don't read this newsgroups.
-
- Thanks in advance
-
- Juergen
