- I am trying to bring up TCP/IP on my ISC 3.0 system. The network software
- worked OK under 2.0, then I moved things around and unhooked the network
- for quite a while, then tried to bring it back up yesterday. The network
- card is a WD8003E, the same card that worked before. It's configured at
- IRQ9, which looks like it should be legit. I have TCP 1.3.0, Update 1,
- and NFS 2.1. The kernel is version 3.0, Update 5.
-
- The symptom is that I can't get any response from the wd driver, even for
- pinging myself. Pings don't receive any responses, attempts to telnet or
- ftp to myself fail, netstat -i gets an ioctl timeout on the wd interface,
- though the hardwareless loopback interface is OK.
-
- Does this sound at all familiar to anyone?
