  12. I am trying to bring up TCP/IP on my ISC 3.0 system.  The network software
  13. worked OK under 2.0, then I moved things around and unhooked the network
  14. for quite a while, then tried to bring it back up yesterday.  The network
  15. card is a WD8003E, the same card that worked before.  It's configured at
  16. IRQ9, which looks like it should be legit.  I have TCP 1.3.0, Update 1,
  17. and NFS 2.1.  The kernel is version 3.0, Update 5.

  19. The symptom is that I can't get any response from the wd driver, even for
  20. pinging myself.  Pings don't receive any responses, attempts to telnet or
  21. ftp to myself fail, netstat -i gets an ioctl timeout on the wd interface,
  22. though the hardwareless loopback interface is OK.

  24. Does this sound at all familiar to anyone?
