  16. Back again.  Same machine, slightly diff problem now.

  18. I've got the fonts DLing correctly.

  20. (the hint is:  -opost and raw  and I'll be summerizing sometime this 
  21. week AFTER I talk with Esix)

  23. What's happening now is in the upper left hand corner the printer adds
  24. some 'garbage'.  Now only one conditionn REALLY confuses me.  At the
  25. tail end of a file to dump is an esc (8U and (guess what!) the (8U prints
  26. And at the start of the page, there is an esc (some stuff I don't quite
  27. remember) 6fL  And, (surprise) this prints too.  Now, here's the part
  28. that confuses me a 0G aslo shows up.  Now, to the best of my grep'ing
  29. there is no 0G in the test file, nor in the interface file.

  31. I believe re-writing cat (adding a pause/loop when a form feed/
  32. printer reset/carrage return) will solve the esc 8 and esc (whatever)6fL
  33. but....what/where is the 0G comming from?
