  27. I disagree. At <$100, why wouldn't you choose 'real' UNIX over, say,
  28. Coherent which is also at $100? If the price was as low as Bill
  29. suggests, I'd have to agree with him. Perhaps this will all change if
  30. HURD or Linux ever gains the momentum that GCC has.

  32. Come to think of it, Sun unbundled their C compiler because so many
  33. people were using GCC, does that mean if GNU HURD gets as popular,
  34. Sun will drop SunOS too :-)?

  39. I've seen full page ads for Consensys SVR4.2 in PCWEEK. I think I've seen
  40. UNIVEL ads there as well, but I'm not as sure about that.
