  14. I am waiting that someone write interface program for EISA Ethernet
  15. cards, too. But, there is an economical problem. 
  16. Usually, EISA Ehternet cards are much expensive than ISA cards, 
  17. for example,
  18.     NOVEL NE3000 $700
  19.     Intel EtherExpress $550
  20.     No bland maker $250 - $400
  21. I have hard that 3Com is going to produce a new EISA Ethernet card,
  22. product name is 3C579, about $300. I cannot remember SMC/WD's ESIA 
  23. card name, but the price is about $650.

  25. I'm now using SMC/WD 8013EBC(Plus Elite/16) with DX2-66 + 8.33MHz
  26. EISA bus speed, and can get 450kbyte/s for ftp (over 4Mbps). 
  27. Is this speed very slow for you? I'm almost satisfied.
